CarbZone’s Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is extracted from hand-picked and organically grown coconuts. The coconuts are cold pressed to keep the nutrients and flavor. Our coconut oil has a mild flavor of coconut with several areas for use.
Coconut oil is a good alternative to butter in baking and cooking where it can withstand high temperatures without creating trans fats. You can also eat it as it is, spread it on bread, mix into smoothies or have it in your coffee. What is Lauric acid and Caprylic acid?
Our coconut oil consists mainly of saturated fat of which 50% is lauric acid, a medium fatty acid (MCT fat). This is the same fat that is also found naturally in breast milk. The coconut oil also contains 8% caprylic acid.
